On Sunday, May 31, 2025, Javad Mobra, a Tehran resident and social media activist, was arrested by security forces on political charges. He is currently detained and undergoing interrogation without access to the basic rights of a detainee outlined in Article 5 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and Articles 9 and 10 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
A source close to Javad Mobra's family reported that despite the significant time elapsed since Mobra's arrest, he has been deprived of his basic rights to expedite the judicial process and resolve his case. On May 30, 2025, for the first time since his arrest, he was able to have a brief meeting with his mother.
It should be noted that Javad Mobra was arrested on May 5, 2025, in the Ekhtiarieh neighborhood of Tehran, where he resides, following a raid by security forces. He was then transferred to Evin Prison for interrogation and case processing.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز یکشنبه ۱۱ خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۴، جواد مبرا، ساکن تهران، فعال فضای مجازی، متهم سیاسی دستگیر شده توسط نیروهای امنیتی و تحت بازداشت، محبوس و بلاتکلیف در حالی دوران بازجویی های خود را سپری می کند که از حقوق اولیه یک متهم مندرج در ماده ۵ قانون آئین دادرسی و مفاد و ۹ و ۱۰ اعلامیه جهانی حقوق بشر محروم شده است.
به نقل از یک فرد نزدیک به خانواده جواد مبرا در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”با توجه به اینکه مدت زیادی از دستگری آقای مبرا گذشته اما وی از حقوق اولیه خود برای تصریع در روند دادرسی و تعیین تکلیف پرونده اش محروم شده و در تاریخ ۱۰ خرداد ماه ۱۴۰۴، برای اولین مرتبه از زمان دستگیری توانست با مادرش ملاقات کوتاهی داشته باشد.”
لازم به ذکر است، جواد مبرا، در تاریخ ۱۵ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۴، در محله اختیاریه تهران محل سکونت خود ، پس از یورش نیروهای امنیتی، دستگیر و برای بازجویی و تشکیل پرونده به زندان اوین منتقل شد.
