Despite more than two months having passed since the arrest of Peyvand Naeimi, a Baha'i citizen, he remains in a state of uncertainty and is still being held in a solitary confinement cell in Kerman Prison.
During this period, he has reportedly been subjected to mock executions and torture aimed at extracting forced confessions. In this regard, the Baha'i International Community has issued a statement expressing concern over his situation and has called for urgent attention from the international community to his case.
Payvand Naeimi, 30 years old, was arrested at their workplace on January 8 and transferred to an unknown location.
