On Monday, 25 April 2022 (5 Ordibehesht 1401), security forces violently arrested and assaulted Ali-Hassan Bahamin, a teachers' union activist, in Yasuj, without presenting an arrest warrant. The publication of a video showing the security forces' violent treatment and beating of him prompted many teachers in Yasuj to protest outside the Yasuj IRGC Intelligence Office. He was released from the IRGC Intelligence detention facility in Yasuj around midnight on the day following his arrest.
According to a report by the Iran Teachers' Union Challenge channel, the Provincial Board for Administrative Violations of the Ministry of Education in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province has sentenced Ali-Hassan Bahamin, a teachers' union activist and high school physics teacher in Yasuj, to forced retirement accompanied by a two-grade demotion.

روز دوشنبه ۵ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۱، نیروهای امنیتی بدون ارائه حکم اقدام به بازداشت خشونت آمیز و ضرب و شتم علی حسن بهامین، فعال صنفی معلمان در یاسوج کردند. انتشار ویدئویی از برخورد خشونت آمیز نیروهای امنیتی و ضرب و شتم او واکنش بسیاری فرهنگیان اهل یاسوج را به همراه داشت که در مقابل اداره اطلاعات سپاه یاسوج دست به تجمع زدند. وی نیمه شب روز بعد از بازداشتگاه اطلاعات سپاه یاسوج آزاد شد.
بر اساس گزارش کانال «چالش صنفی معلمان ایران»، هیات بدوی رسیدگی به تخلفات اداری آموزش وپرورش استان کهگیلویه و بویراحمد، علی حسن بهامین، فعال صنفی معلمان و دبیر فیزیک مدارس یاسوج را به بازنشستگی اجباری همراه با دو گروه تقلیل محکوم کرده است.تاریخ خبر ۱۴ مرداد ۱۴۰۵
