Daniel Aghili will be tried in Branch 29 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
On Saturday, November 25, 2023, Daniel Aghili, a resident of Tehran Province, born in 2003, currently detained and without resolution in Evin Prison, will be tried by Judge Seyed Ali Mazloom, the head of Branch 29 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court.
According to a written notice issued by the office head of Branch 29 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, which was sent to Daniel Aghili in Evin Prison, he must appear at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023, to present his defense against charges of assembly and collusion against national security and propaganda activities against the regime.
It is important to note that Daniel Aghili was arrested by security forces in Tehran on September 14, 2023. After being transferred to one of the security wards of Evin Prison and undergoing interrogation and being informed of the charges on November 2, 2023, he was transferred to the general ward of Evin Prison.
Additionally, Daniel Aghili's interrogation and charge briefing session was held in the investigation branch of the District 33 Prosecutor's Office in Tehran before his transfer to the quarantine ward of Evin Prison.
Previously, Daniel Aghili was also arrested by security agents during the nationwide protests in 2022 and faced judicial proceedings.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز شنبه ۴ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۲، دانیال عقیلی، ساکن استان تهران، متولد: ۱۳۸۲، محبوس و بلاتکلیف در زندان اوین، توسط قاضی سید علی مظلوم ـ رئیس شعبه ۲۹ دادگاه انقلاب تهران، محاکمه خواهد شد.
براساس ابلاغیه کتبی صادره توسط رئیس دفتر شعبه ۲۹ دادگاه انقلاب تهران که برای دانیال عقیلی در زندان اوین ارسال شده وی باید سال ۱۰ صبح شنبه ۴ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۲، برای ارائه دفاعیات خود در برابر اتهامات اجتماع و تبانی علیه امنیت ملی و فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام در دفتر شعبه مذکور حاضر شود.
لازم به اشاره است، دانیال عقیلی، در تاریخ ۲۳ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در تهران، بازداشت و پس از انتقال به یکی از بندهای امنیتی زندان اوین و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام در تاریخ ۱۱ آبان ماه ۱۴۰۲، به بند عمومی زندان اوین منتقل شد.
همچنین، جلسه بازپرسی و تفهیم اتهام دانیال عقیلی، پیش از انتقال وی به بند قرنطینه زندان اوین در شعبه بازپرسی دادسرای ناحیه ۳۳ تهران، برگزار شده بود.
دانیال عقیلی، پیشتر هم در جریان اعتراضات سراسری ۱۴۰۱، توسط ماموران امنیتی، بازداشت و در معرض پرونده سازی قضایی قرار گرفته بود.
