On 6 February 2026, it was reported that Reza Hassan Zadeh, from the Kermanshah Kurds, was among those who lost their lives during the public protests on 9 January 2026 in the Nezamabad neighbourhood of Tehran. He died from a direct gunshot wound to the head.
It was stated that less than 24 hours remained before Reza Hassan Zadeh's wedding ceremony when he was killed. His identification documents were obtained from the registry office to identify his body.
Reza Hassan Zadeh's body was buried on 12 January 2026 in the Ghal'eh Hassan Khan area.

گفته شده است که کمتر از ۲۴ ساعت به مراسم عقد رضا حسن زاده باقی مانده بود که او کشته شد. برای شناسایی پیکر او، شناسنامه و کارت ملی از محضر دریافت شده است.
پیکر رضا حسن زاده در تاریخ ۲۲ دی ۱۴۰۴در منطقه قلعه حسن خان به خاک سپرده شد.
