In the early hours of 22 May 2026, forces from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps conducted a raid in the village of Kuseh-Ke-Riz, near Mahabad. During this operation, two Kurdish citizens, identified as Ehsan Khorramabad and Mikaeil Dudkanlu Milan, also known as "Shorash," were detained.
