Amirhossein Samar Ansari, who was arrested during the protests in January 2026, has been sentenced by the Tehran Revolutionary Court to one year in prison and additional penalties.
The 26th Branch of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Iman Afshari, sentenced Amirhossein Samar Ansari to one year of imprisonment for "propaganda activities against the regime." Additionally, he received a two-year ban from membership in political and social parties and groups as part of the supplementary penalties. He was acquitted of the charge of "assembly and collusion to commit a crime against the country's internal security" by the same court.

امیرحسین ثمر انصاری، توسط شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران، به ریاست قاضی ایمان افشاری از بابت اتهام «فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام» به یک سال حبس تعزیری و در باب مجازات های تکمیلی به دو سال محرومیت از عضویت در احزاب و گروه های سیاسی و اجتماعی محکوم شد. وی همچنین در این شعبه از اتهام «اجتماع و تبانی برای ارتکاب جرم علیه امنیت داخلی کشور» تبرئه شده است.
