On Wednesday, 3rd Bahman 1403 (22nd January 2025) Mr Parsa Rahimi, a resident of Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location for joining the recent nationwide market protests in Kurdistan province demanding the cancellation of the death sentences of two female political prisoners (Ms Varisheh Moradi and Ms Pakhshan Azizi).
