روز چهارشنبه ۲ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۵ (۲۲ آوریل ۲۰۲۶)، نیروهای حکومتی اقدام به بازداشت محمدمهدی هاتف، پژوهشگر و مترجم اهل تهران کرده اند. به گفته منابع آگاه، نیروهای حکومتی پس از بازداشت این پجوهشگر به منزل شخصی وی هجوم برده و ضمن تفتیش منزل، اقدام به ضبط وسایل الکترونیکی و برخی از آثار وی کرده اند. قابل ذکر است که، محمدمهدی هاتف، دانش آموخته دکتری فلسفه از موسسه پژوهشی حکمت و فلسفه ایران است. وی مترجم آثار متعددی از جمله «پیشرفت علم و مسائل آن»، «چپ داروینی»، «درآمدی بر فلسفه پزشکی»، «به عقب برنمی گردیم: زندگی، زوال و امید در سوریه جنگ زده» و «فریادهای بهار عربی» می باشد.
On Wednesday, April 22, 2026 (Ordibehesht 2, 1405), government forces arrested Mohammadmehdi Hatef, a researcher and translator from Tehran.
According to informed sources, after arresting him, the agents raided his home, searched the premises, and confiscated electronic devices as well as some of his works.
It is worth noting that Mohammadmehdi Hatef holds a PhD in philosophy from the Iranian Institute of Philosophy. He has translated numerous works, including “The Progress of Science and Its Problems,” “Darwinian Left,” “An Introduction to the Philosophy of Medicine,” “We Will Not Go Back: Life, Loss, and Hope in War-Torn Syria,” and “Cries of the Arab Spring.”
