Morteza Nemati

In October 2022, an individual resigned from a university and has since faced repeated legal challenges and accusations, including propaganda against the regime and spreading falsehoods. Three political cases have been filed against this person in the Abdanan Revolutionary Court. In the most recent instance, the individual has been charged with propaganda against the regime for expressing sympathy with the family of a teenager named Alireza Saeedi. The indictment hearing for this charge is scheduled to take place on 1 November 2026 in the Abdanan Revolutionary Court.

The individual has stated that they have been entangled in an endless legal dispute for three years and believes there is an intention to issue a verdict against them. They have argued that, according to the judicial system's regulations, any criminal verdict against them would be unjust and unfair. In the first two cases, they were fined, and in the third case, they faced heavy property bail with evidence they claim is unrelated to the charges. In a video, the individual provided explanations about the evidence in the third case, including a photograph taken with the family of the late Alireza Saeedi. The individual has declared that they will not remain silent in the face of this ongoing legal process.
