Mahanam Navab Safavi, a rap singer from Isfahan and one of those arrested during the protests in December 2025, is facing a death sentence and is being held in Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan.
According to released information, he was arrested at his workplace in Isfahan in December 2025 and spent approximately 45 days in solitary confinement at the Ministry of Intelligence detention centre. His case was reviewed in Branch 15 of the Prosecutor's Office before being referred to Branch 5 of the Revolutionary Court of Isfahan.
Reports indicate that the death sentence for this prisoner was issued and communicated to him on 20 June 2026. He has a legal period of 20 days from the notification of the verdict to request an appeal.
The charges against Mahanam Navab Safavi include "enmity against God" through the destruction of public property, "propaganda against the regime," "assembly and collusion," and "support for the monarchy through graffiti."
Additionally, it has been reported that forced confessions were obtained from this protesting rapper and that the hearing for his case was conducted in absentia.

بر اساس اطلاعات منتشرشده، وی در دی ماه 1404 در محل کار خود در اصفهان بازداشت شد و حدود 45 روز را در بازداشتگاه وزارت اطلاعات و در سلول انفرادی گذراند. پرونده او پس از رسیدگی در شعبه 15 بازپرسی، به شعبه پنجم دادگاه انقلاب اصفهان ارجاع شد.
گزارش ها نشان می دهد که حکم اعدام برای این زندانی صادر و 30 خرداد 1405 به او ابلاغ شده است. وی از زمان ابلاغ رأی 20 روز فرصت قانونی برای درخواست تجدیدنظر دارد.
اتهام های مطرح شده علیه مهنام نواب صفوی شامل «محاربه» از طریق تخریب اموال عمومی، «تبلیغ علیه نظام»، «اجتماع و تبانی» و «حمایت از نظام پادشاهی از طریق شعارنویسی» عنوان شده است.
همچنین، اطلاعات منتشرشده حاکی از آن است که از این رپر معترض اعترافات اجباری اخذ شده و جلسه رسیدگی به پرونده او به صورت غیرحضوری برگزار شده است.
