On Sunday, February 15, 2026, at least six employees of a restaurant, including a Baloch citizen, were arrested by security forces in the Nezamabad area of Tehran. This restaurant is located in an area that has witnessed widespread gatherings and protests during the nationwide protests up to January 8 and 9, days marked by the suppression of protesters.
The identity of the arrested Baloch citizen has been confirmed as "Javid Azadi," a 33-year-old married man from Chahan, a suburb of Nikshahr, son of Dadmohammad. The identities of the other five individuals are not known at the time of this report.
According to Hal Vash sources, "Javid Azadi had been working as a cashier at this restaurant for about two years and was arrested on the evening of February 15, along with several other employees, by security forces without being charged or provided with a judicial warrant. They were taken to an unknown location."
Sources further added, "The arrest of these individuals took place while numerous gatherings and protests have been held near this location in recent months, and it is likely that these arrests are related to those protests and the security atmosphere created in the area."

روز یکشنبه ۲۶ بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۴ دست کم شش نفر از کارکنان یک رستوران از جمله یک شهروند بلوچ در منطقه نظام آباد تهران توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت شده اند. این رستوران در محدوده ای قرار دارد که طی روز های اعتراض سراسری شهروندان تا روز های ۱۸ و ۱۹ دی ماه روز های سرکوب معترضین شاهد تجمعات و اعتراضات مردمی گسترده بوده است.
هویت شهروند بلوچ بازداشت شده « جاوید آزادی » ۳۳ ساله فرزند دادمحمد متاهل اهل چاهان از توابع شهرستان نیکشهر توسط حال وش احراز و از هویت پنج تن دیگر تا لحظه تنظیم گزارش اطلاعی در دست نیست.
به گفته منابع حال وش:« جاوید آزادی حدودا از دو سال پیش به عنوان صندوق دار در این رستوران مشغول به کار بوده و شامگاه روز ۲۶ بهمن ماه همراه با چند تن دیگر از کارکنان این رستوران توسط نیروهای امنیتی بدون تفهیم اتهام و ارائه حکم قضایی بازداشت شده و به مکان نامعلوم منتقل شده است.»
منابع در ادامه افزودند: «بازداشت این افراد در حالی صورت گرفته که طی ماه های گذشته در نزدیکی این محل تجمعات و اعتراضات متعددی برگزار شده و احتمال می رود این بازداشت ها در ارتباط با همان اعتراضات و فضای امنیتی ایجادشده در منطقه باشد.»
