On Saturday, 13th Bahman 1403 (1st February 2025) Mr Soroush Noorbakhsh, a music student at the University of Tehran was arrested by security forces after being summoned to the IRGC Intelligence Department in Mahabad.
According to a report, Soroush Nourbakhsh from Mahabad in West Azerbaijan Province was arrested by officers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on 2 February 2025. It is reported that the arrest occurred after he was summoned to a security agency. No information is currently available regarding the legal basis of the charges or the exact reason for his summons and detention. Soroush Nourbakhsh is a student of classical guitar performance at the University of Tehran.
