On October 1, 2023, Sara Jahani and Zahra Dadras, two civil activists detained in Lakan Prison in Rasht, were released on bail pending the completion of their legal proceedings.
A source close to Sara Jahani's family reported that two bail bonds, each amounting to 500 million tomans, were posted for the release of Dadras and Jahani.
The charge against Sara Jahani and Zahra Dadras during the investigation phase was reported as "propaganda activities against the regime."
It is noteworthy that Sara Jahani and Zahra Dadras were arrested on August 16, 2023, following extensive raids by the Gilan Province Intelligence Department on the homes of civil activists. After a search of their homes and the confiscation of some personal electronic devices, they were detained, transferred to the detention center of the security agency, and subsequently moved to the public ward of Lakan Prison in Rasht after undergoing interrogation and investigation at the Gilan Province Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، امروز یکشنبه ۹ مهرماه ۱۴۰۲، سارا جهانی و زهره دادرس، دو تن از فعالان مدنی، محبوس و بلاتکلیف در زندان لاکان رشت، با تودیع قرار وثیقه تا اتمام مراحل دادرسی، آزاد شدند.
به نقل از یک فرد نزیدک به خانواده سارا جهانی در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”برای آزادی خان دادرسی و جهانی ۲ فقره وثیقه به مبلغ ۵۰۰ میلیون تومان تودیع شده است.”
همچنین، اتهام تفهیم شده به سارا جهانی و زهره دادرسی در مرحله بازپرسی(فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام) عنوان شده است.
لازم به اشاره است، سارا جهانی و زهره دادرس، در تاریخ ۲۵مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، در پی یورش های گستده ماموران اداره کل اطلاعات استان گیلان به منازل فعالان مدنی، پس از تفتیش منزل و توقیف برخی لوازم الکترونیکی شخصی آنها، بازداشت و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه آن نهاد امنیتی و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و سپس بازپرسی در دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب استان گیلان، به بند عمومی در زندان لاکان رشت منتقل شده بودند.
