Saeed Estaki, a ۲۴ ساله resident of Golpayegan, was killed on the evening of 19 January. Reports indicate that his body was found in an alley with a fractured skull and severe head injuries. It has been suggested that attempts were made to portray his death as a suicide, although no signs of injuries consistent with a fall from a height were observed on his body.
According to available information, the forensic examination has dismissed the narrative of a fall from a rooftop, as his body lacked injuries typical of falling from a height and only showed signs of assault and a fatal head injury.
In the following days, various narratives emerged, including claims of suicide and a history of attempts, as well as allegations of being killed by protesters. Saeed's family has reportedly been pressured to declare his death unrelated to protests, but his father stated that he is unaware of the incident's details.
Local witnesses reported that special unit forces were seen leaving the area at the time Saeed's body was discovered. Those close to Saeed Estaki have emphasised that he was killed by direct blows to the head and that the official accounts do not align with the reality.

شاهدان محلی گزارش داده اند که هم زمان با پیدا شدن پیکر سعید، نیروهای یگان ویژه در حال ترک محل دیده شده اند. نزدیکان سعید استکی تأکید کرده اند که او بر اثر ضربات مستقیم به سر کشته شده است و روایت های رسمی با واقعیت همخوانی ندارد.
