سورنا رباط جزی ۲۱ ساله پنجشنبه ۱۸دی۱۴۰۴ در اعتراضات «اسفراین» خراسان شمالی بر اثر اصابت چند گلوله جنگی از سوی نیروهای مسلح جمهوری اسلامی کشته شد. یکی از گلوله ها مستقیم به قلب او اصابت کرد. نیروهای امنیتی پس از کشتن سورنا پیکر او را به «بجنورد» منتقل کردند. در این مدت خانواده از محل نگهداری پیکر فرزندشان بی اطلاع بود و در جست وجوی او به مراکز مختلف مراجعه کردند. خانواده سورنا پس از تحویل گرفتن پیکر او را به اسفراین بازگرداندند و مراسم خاکسپاری در همین شهرستان برگزار شد. سورنا رباط جزی دانشجوی رشته مهندسی کامپیوتر در دانشگاه صنعتی بجنورد و در حال یادگیری زبان خارجی بود. او قصد داشت برای ادامه زندگی و تحصیل به آلمان مهاجرت کند

A 22-year-old from Esfarayen was killed by gunfire from agents of the Islamic regime on the evening of 19 Dey 1404 (January 9, 2026).
Sourena Rabat Jazi, 21, was killed on Thursday, January 8, 2026, during the protests in Esfarayen, North Khorasan, as a result of being hit by several live bullets fired by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic. One of the bullets struck directly to his heart. After killing Sourena, security forces transferred his body to Bojnord. During this time, the family was unaware of the location of their son's body and visited various centers in search of him. After receiving the body, Sourena's family returned it to Esfarayen, where the burial ceremony was held in the same city. Sourena Rabat Jazi was a computer engineering student at Bojnord University of Technology and was learning a foreign language. He intended to migrate to Germany for further studies and to continue his life there.
