The source added regarding the charges against Mohammad Soltani that, according to the investigator, the charges include "insulting Islamic sanctities," "assembly and collusion," "propaganda against the regime," "membership in a group with the intent to disrupt national security," "disturbing public order," "spreading falsehoods in cyberspace," and "causing public anxiety."
It should be noted that Mohammad Soltani, one of the defendants in the Arak Cemetery case, was sentenced on September 2, 2023, by a judge in Branch 105 of the Arak Criminal Court 2, to one year of discretionary imprisonment and 74 lashes for "disturbing public order," and five years of discretionary imprisonment for "insulting Islamic sanctities."
This Arak resident was arrested on August 5, 2023, following his participation in a memorial ceremony for Mehshad Shahidi, one of the victims of the nationwide protests in 2022. He was detained following a raid by security forces and, after being transferred to the Security Police detention center and then the Arak Intelligence Office detention center, underwent interrogation and was charged before being moved to Arak Central Prison.

در روز یکشنبه ۹ مهر ماه ۱۴۰۲، محمد سلطانی، اهل و ساکن اراک مرکز استان مرکزی، محبوس و بلاتکلیف در زندان اراک، پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها، تفهیم اتهام و صدور و ابلاغ حکم برای یکی از ۳ پرونده قضایی تشکیل شده بر علیه او، با قید وثیقه تا اتمام مراحل دادرسی، آزاد شد.
به نقل از یک فرد مطلع در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”آقای سلطانی، ظهر یکشنبه هفته جاری و پس از تودیع وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۱ میلیارد و ۷۰۰ میلیون تومان، که شامل یک پرونده قضایی در ۲ کیفرخواست جداگانه، است از زندان مرکزی اراک آزاد شد.
این فرد مطلع در خصوص اتهامات منتسب شده به محمد سلطانی افزود:”با توجه به اعلام بازپرس، اتهامات آقای سلطانی(توهین به مقدسات اسلامی)، (اجتماع و تبانی)، (تبلیغ علیه نظام)، (عضویت در گروه و دسته به قصد یر هم زدن امنیت کشور)، (اخلال در نظم عمومی)، (نشر اکاذیب در فضای مجازی) و (تشویش اذهان عمومی) عنوان شده است.”
لازم به اشاره است، محمد سلطانی، یکی از متهمان پرونده آرامستان اراک، در تاریخ ۱۱ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲، توسط قاضی شعبه ۱۰۵ دادگاه کیفری۲ اراک، از بابت اتهامات(اخلال در نظم عمومی) به تحمل ۱ سال حبس تعزیری و ۷۴ ضربه شلاق تعزیری و به اتهام (توهین به مقدسات اسلامی) هم هر یک از این افراد به ۵ سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شده است.
این شهروند ساکن اراک، درتاریخ ۱۴ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، در پی حضور در مراسم یادبود مهرشاد شهیدی از جانباختگان اعتراضات سراسری ۱۴۰۱، در پی یورش نیروهای امنیتی، دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه پلیس امنیت و سپس بازداشتگه اداره اطلاعات اراک و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام به زندان مرکزی اراک منتقل شده بود.
