Nadia Sadeghali, who was detained on March 19, 2026, along with her sister Mobina for placing flowers on the graves of those who died during the protests in January 2026 in Mashhad, has been released on bail. Mobina had previously been released on bail after two months of temporary detention. Initially, a bail of six billion rials had been set for Nadia, which she was unable to provide. Following efforts by her family, this was converted to a surety. The two sisters have been accused of assembly and collusion, propaganda against the system, and inciting unrest.
