Mohaddaseh Nazari (Bita), originally from and residing in Karaj, Alborz Province, was a first-year high school student. She recorded the November 2019 protests in Karaj using her mobile phone camera. Security forces saw her filming, after which she was repeatedly interrogated and threatened.
Her family moved to another city in an attempt to protect her, but the threats continued. Some time later, Mohaddaseh became seriously ill and, after spending two days in hospital, died.
Authorities stated that her cause of death was suicide, but her family rejected this account. The family was warned not to speak publicly about Mohaddaseh ’s death.
محدثه نظری (بیتا) اهل و ساکن کرج در استان البرز و دانش آموز اول دبیرستان بود. اعتراضات آبان ۹۸ در کرج را با دوربین موبایل ثبت و ضبط کرد. نیروهای امنیتی او را در حال فیلم برداری دیدند و پس از آن، محدثه بارها مورد بازجویی و تهدید قرار گرفت.
خانواده اش برای محافظت از او به شهری دیگر نقل مکان کردند، اما تهدیدها همچنان ادامه داشت. مدتی بعد، محدثه به شدت بیمار شد و پس از دو روز بستری در بیمارستان جان باخت. مقامات علت مرگ او را خودکشی اعلام کردند، اما خانواده اش این روایت را نپذیرفتند. به خانواده او هشدار داده شد که درباره مرگ محدثه به صورت عمومی صحبت نکنند.
