Ali Rahimi Rigi was detained by security forces several days after the protests in December 2025 and is currently held in Lordegan Prison. Reports indicate that he was initially transferred to the detention centre of the Intelligence Office in Shahr-e Kord before being moved to Lordegan Prison. There have also been reports of security restrictions and pressures being imposed.
According to the judicial case, he faces charges including waging war against God, spreading corruption on earth, possession and carrying of weapons and ammunition, destruction, illegal assembly, propaganda against the regime, gathering and collusion against national security, displaying power with weapons, and disturbing public order. The legal proceedings are ongoing in the judicial authorities. Concerns have been raised about the possibility of a death sentence being issued for this detainee.
علی رحیمی ریگی چند روز پس از اعتراضات دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت شد و در زندان لردگان نگهداری می شود. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که او ابتدا به بازداشتگاه اداره اطلاعات شهرکرد منتقل و سپس به زندان لردگان انتقال یافته است. همچنین گزارش هایی از اعمال محدودیت ها و فشارهای امنیتی منتشر شده است.
بر اساس پرونده قضایی، اتهاماتی از جمله محاربه، افساد فی الارض، نگهداری و حمل سلاح و مهمات، تخریب، تجمع غیرقانونی، تبلیغ علیه نظام، اجتماع و تبانی علیه امنیت کشور، قدرت نمایی با سلاح و اخلال در نظم عمومی به وی نسبت داده شده و روند رسیدگی به پرونده در مراجع قضایی ادامه دارد. نگرانی هایی درباره احتمال صدور حکم اعدام برای این زندانی مطرح شده است.
