Akbar Hamzeh Hosseini, originally from Lorestan and residing in Karaj, was fatally shot by security forces at the Ferdows Crossroads. It has been reported that before participating in the protests, Akbar expressed his love for Iran and his commitment to act for freedom. In a video recorded prior to his death, he spoke about his intention to sacrifice himself for the nation.
Akbar and his brother Morteza were arrested during the "Woman, Life, Freedom" protests in 2022 and were imprisoned for approximately one year. Morteza was re-arrested four months after his release due to his activities on social media and was incarcerated again. Morteza, who had been in prison for two years, was granted a ten-day leave to attend the fortieth-day memorial ceremony for Akbar.
It has been reported that Akbar's death has been particularly difficult for his parents. Akbar was a champion in the martial art of Ninjutsu Ninja.

اکبر و برادرش مرتضی در سال 1401 در جریان اعتراضات «زن زندگی آزادی» بازداشت شدند و حدود یک سال در زندان بودند. مرتضی چهار ماه پس از آزادی دوباره به دلیل فعالیت در فضای مجازی بازداشت و زندانی شد. مرتضی که از دو سال پیش در زندان بود، برای شرکت در مراسم چهلم اکبر به مدت ده روز به مرخصی آمد.
گزارش شده است که کشته شدن اکبر برای والدینش بسیار دشوار بوده است. اکبر قهرمان ورزش رزمی نینجوتسو نینجا بود.
