جواد سامانی شامگاه ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ با شلیک گلوله به ناحیه سر در خمینی شهر اصفهان کشته شد. جواد روز قبل از آن هم در اعتراضات هدف گلوله ساچمه ای قرار گرفته بود، اما باز به خیابان رفت.
برای تحویل پیکر مبلع یک و نیم میلیارد تومان پول گلوله خواستند. اما به دلیل مخالف خانواده، پیکر را چهار روز بعد با شراط «برگزاری خاکسپاری ۱۰ دقیقه ای با تعداد محدود» تحویل دادند.
جواد پدر دو فرزند بود. عاشق کوهنوردی و عکاسی از حیوانات بود،

Javad Samani was killed by a gunshot to the head on the evening of January 9, 2026, in Khomeinishahr, Isfahan. The day before, Javad had also been shot with pellets during the protests, but he returned to the streets again.
