On 27 December 2025, Yalda Abbasi, a Kurdish artist from Khorasan residing in Germany, traveled to Iran to renew her passport and visited the relevant authorities. Due to her connection with the Women's Life Freedom movement, a case was opened against her, resulting in a one-year prison sentence in absentia for charges of propaganda against the system. Following her arrest, she was initially transferred to a police station and then to the women's section of Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad.
On 24 December 2025, Yalda Abbasi visited one of the relevant centers for her passport renewal and was informed that a case had been filed against her in connection with the Women's Life Freedom movement and for her support of the people. Based on this case, the Evin Prosecutor's Office issued a one-year prison sentence in absentia.
هفتم دی ۱۴۰۴؛ یلدا عباسی، هنرمند کورد خراسانی مقیم آلمان، به منظور تمدید گذرنامه به ایران سفر کرده و به نهادهای مربوطه مراجعه کرده است. او به دلیل ارتباط با خیزش انقلابی ژن ژیان ئازادی، پرونده ای تشکیل شده و به اتهام تبلیغ علیه نظام به یک سال حبس تعزیری به صورت غیابی محکوم شده است. یلدا عباسی پس از بازداشت ابتدا به کلانتری و سپس به بند نسوان زندان وکیل آباد مشهد منتقل شده است.
در روز شنبه چهارم دی ۱۴۰۴، یلدا عباسی برای تمدید گذرنامه به یکی از مراکز مربوطه مراجعه کرده و در آنجا مطلع شده است که در ارتباط با خیزش انقلابی ژن ژیان ئازادی و به دلیل حمایت از مردم، پرونده ای علیه او تشکیل شده است. بر اساس این پرونده، دادسرای اوین برای او حکم غیابی یک سال حبس صادر کرده است.
