علیرضا امانی در شهر آبپخش شهرستان دشتستان در استان بوشهر مقابل پایگاه بسیج با اصابت گلوله جنگی به گردنش کشته شد. او را به بیمارستان منتقل کردند، اما جان خود را از دست داد. پیکر او به پزشکی قانونی فرستاده شد و پس از انجام کالبدشکافی، پیکر به خانواده تحویل داده شد و اجازه دفن صادر شد. گزارش شده است که علیرضا به بدنسازی مشغول بود و آرزو داشت در یک شرکت مشغول به کار شود و زندگی مشترک تشکیل دهد.

Alireza Amani was fatally shot in the neck with a live bullet in the city of Abpakhsh, Dashtestan County, Bushehr Province, in front of a Basij base. He was transferred to a hospital but did not survive. His body was sent to the forensic department, and after an autopsy was conducted, it was returned to his family for burial. It has been reported that Alireza was involved in bodybuilding and aspired to work for a company and start a family.
