۳۰ ساله روز جمعه ۱۹ دی ماه در بلوار توس محدوده میدان معراج جان خود را از دست داد.
بر اساس روایت های محلی این حادثه در حوالی میدان معراج و روبه روی پایگاه بسیج رخ داد و مجتبی اکبری بر اثر اصابت گلوله جنگی کشته شد. او از اهالی همان محله بود و در یک خانواده کم درآمد زندگی می کرد. مجتبی به همراه برادرش تامین کننده اصلی مخارج خانواده بودند. شغل او آرماتوربندی ساختمانی بود.
به گفته شاهدان در جریان وقایع آن شب تیراندازی از داخل پایگاه انجام می شد و هم زمان نیروهایی با خودرو و موتورسیکلت از سمت دیگر میدان به سمت تجمع حرکت کردند. گزارش ها حاکی از استفاده گسترده از گلوله جنگی است. همچنین در ساعات پایانی شب خودرویی پژو پارس مشکی در محدوده شهرک های اطراف بلوار توس مشاهده شده که به گفته شاهدان به سمت افرادی که در محله حضور داشتند تیراندازی می کرد.

Mojtaba Akbari, 30 years old, lost his life on Friday, January 8, in the Boulevard Tous area near Meraj Square. Local accounts indicate that the incident occurred near Meraj Square, in front of a Basij base, and Mojtaba Akbari was killed by a bullet. He was a resident of the same neighborhood and lived in a low-income family. Mojtaba, along with his brother, was the main provider for the family. His job was as a construction rebar worker.
Witnesses reported that during the events of that night, shots were fired from inside the base, while simultaneously, forces in cars and motorcycles moved from the other side of the square toward the gathering. Reports indicate extensive use of live ammunition. Additionally, late at night, a black Peugeot Pars was seen in the vicinity of the neighborhoods around Boulevard Tous, reportedly shooting at individuals present in the area.
