On Monday, December 22, 2025, Dr. Mohammad Tarighat Esfanjani, a lawyer and member of the East Azerbaijan Bar Association, was arrested by security forces on several security-related charges, including “propaganda against the regime” and “insulting sanctities.”
Mohammad Tarighat Esfanjani was sentenced to three years of discretionary imprisonment.
According to the ruling, recently issued and communicated by the Revolutionary Court of Osku County, he was sentenced to one year in prison for propaganda against the regime and two years for insulting the Supreme Leader and the founder of the Islamic Republic.

بر اساس این حکم که اخیرا توسط دادگاه انقلاب شهرستان اسکو صادر و به محمد طریقت اسفنجانی ابلاغ شده، وی از بابت اتهامات تبلیغ علیه نظام به یک سال حبس و توهین به رهبری و بنیانگذار جمهوری اسلامی به دو سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شده است.
