On Saturday, October 7, 2023, Maryam Rezvani, born in 2003 and a resident of Gorgan, the capital of Golestan Province, has been held without charge for more than 22 days since her arrest and is deprived of her basic rights as a detainee in Amirabad (Central) Prison in Gorgan.
A knowledgeable source stated that Maryam Rezvani was arrested due to her activities on social media and posting content on her personal page regarding the current situation in the country and protesting against mandatory hijab. Despite 22 days having passed since her arrest and the completion of interrogations and charges, she remains in an uncertain situation.
It is important to note that Maryam Rezvani was arrested by security forces in Golestan Province on September 15, 2023, and after being transferred to the security police detention center and then the prosecutor's office, she was moved to Amirabad Prison under a temporary detention order.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، امروز شنبه ۱۵ مهر ماه ۱۴۰۲، مریم رضوانی، متولد: ۱۳۸۲، اهل: گرگان مرکز استان گلستان، با توجه به گذشت بیش از ۲۲ روز از تاریخ دستگیری، بطور بلاتکلیف در زندان امیرآباد(مرکزی)گرگان، بسر می برد و از حقوق اوله یک متهم محروم است.
به نقل از یک فرد مطلع در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”خانم رضوانی، به علت فعالیت در فضای مجازی و انتشار مطاللی در صفحه شخصی خود در خصوص وضعیت جاری کشور و اعتراض به حجاب اجباری، بازداشت شده و با توجه به گذشت ۲۲ روز از تاریخ دستگیری و اتمام بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام، در بلاتکلیفی بسر میبرد.”
لازم به اشاره است، مریم رضوانی، در تاریخ ۲۴ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲، توسط ماموران امنیتی در استان گلستان، دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه پلیس امنیت و سپس دادسرا با صدور قرا بازداشت موقت به زندان امیرآباد منتقل شد.
