Roghieh Bigdeli was tried on 21 November 2022 by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Iman Afshari. She presented her defence regarding the charge of "propaganda against the regime."
This civil activist was arrested on 27 October 2022 after being summoned by phone to the Tehran Security Police. She was transferred to the Evin Prison Prosecutor's Office, where she underwent interrogation and was formally charged. Subsequently, she was transferred to Qarchak Varamin Prison under a judicial order.
On Tuesday, 29 November 2022, Roghieh (Mahvin) Bigdeli, who was detained without a clear resolution in Qarchak Varamin Prison, was released on bail of 150 million tomans after the completion of interrogations and a court hearing.
Previously, during the protests following the downing of Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752, she was arrested and underwent legal proceedings in July 2020. The Tehran Revolutionary Court sentenced her to five years in prison, with four years and eleven months suspended, one month of imprisonment, and two years of exile to Zanjan Province. However, in June 2021, due to opposition to the execution of the exile sentence, Branch 6 of the Alborz Province Court of Appeals extended her exile by eight months over a two-year period.
رقیه بیگدلی، در تاریخ ۳۰ آبان ماه ۱۴۰۱، توسط شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران به ریاست ایمان افشاری، محاکمه و دفاعیات خود را از بابت اتهام (فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام) به دادگاه ارائه کرد.
این فعال مدنی، در تاریخ ۵ آبان ماه ۱۴۰۱، پس از احضار تلفنی به پلیس امنیت تهران، بازداشت و پس از انتقال به دادسرای زندان اوین و طی مراحل بازپرسی و تفهیم اتهام با صدور قرار قضائی به زندان قرچک ورامین منتقل شده بود.
روز سه شنبه ۸ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۱، رقیه (مهوین) بیگدلی، فعال مدنی محبوس و بلاتکلیف در زندان قرچک ورامین، پی از اتمام بازجویی ها و تشکیل جلسه دادرسی با تودیع وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۱۵۰ میلیون تومان آزاد شد.
وی پیشتر هم به در جریان اعتراضات به سرنگونی هواپیمای پی اس ۷۵۲ خط هوایی اوکراین، پس از بازداشت و طی مراحل دادرسی در تیرماه سال ۱۳۹۹، توسط دادگاه انقلاب تهران به تحمل ۵سال حبس که ۴سال و ۱۱ماه آن تعلیقی و ۱ ماه حبس تعزیری و ۲سال تبعید به استان زنجان محکوم شده بود اما در خرداد ماه سال ۱۴۰۰، در پی مخالفت با اجرای حکم تبعید، توسط شعبه ۶ دادگاه تجدید نظر استان البرز ۸ ماه به مدت ۲سال تبعید وی افزود شده بود.
