On 13 January 2026, Milad Didar was arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic in his workplace in Lakan Shahr, Rasht. It has been reported that following his arrest, he was subjected to torture and, after being forced to confess, was transferred to Lakan Prison in Rasht.
According to a report dated 25 March 2026, he was moved from the political section of Lakan Prison in Rasht to an undisclosed location.

بنا بر گزارشی به تاریخ ۵ فروردین ۱۴۰۵ وی از بخش سیاسی زندان لاکان رشت به محل نامعلومی انتقال داده شده است.
