به گفته نزدیکان این مربی ماموران بدون ارائه توضیح شفاف وارد باشگاه شده و وی را با خود برده اند. از زمان بازداشت به دلیل فشارها و وعده های مکرر درباره آزادی او از اطلاع رسانی عمومی خودداری کرده اند. منابع نزدیک به خانواده می گویند در تمام این مدت با وعده آزادی آن ها را به سکوت وادار کرده اند.
