On November 16, 2025, a shooting by military forces at the entrance of a checkpoint in Takab County resulted in the death of a citizen. Reports indicate that the shooting led to the death of one individual.
The deceased has been identified as Milad Karami, son of Kiomars, originally from the village of Shirvaneh in the Kamyaran district and residing in Sanandaj. He was married and the father of two children.
Milad Karami was shot in the head at the entrance of the Takab County checkpoint on November 16, on suspicion of carrying contraband goods. Reports suggest that he was not carrying any contraband and had disobeyed the officers' order to stop due to fear of the consequences of stopping the car and being fined for lacking documentation.

میلاد کرمی در تاریخ ۲۵ آبان ماه، در ورودی ایست بازرسی شهرستان تکاب به ظن حمل کالای قاچاق از ناحیه سر هدف تیراندازی قرار گرفته است. گزارش ها نشان می دهند که وی هیچ گونه کالای قاچاقی به همراه نداشته و از ترس عواقب متوقف کردن ماشین و اعمال جریمه به دلیل نداشتن مدارک، از فرمان ایست ماموران سرپیچی کرده است.
