On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, the body of Bakhtiar Masoudi, 25 years old, son of Loqman and Hamideh, a native of Oshnavieh and one of the detainees from the 2022 nationwide protests, was found hanged at his parents home.
Bakhtiar Masoudi had been arrested by security forces during the 2022 protests and was released after 67 days in detention upon posting a heavy bail of 500 million tomans.

بختیار مسعودی در اعتراضات ۱۴۰۱ توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و پس از ۶۷ روز بازداشت، با تودیع وثیقه سنگین به مبلغ ۵۰۰ میلیون تومان آزاد شده بود.
