در دی ماه ۱۳۹۸ بازداشت شد. پس از بازداشت، وی به بند ۲۰۹ زندان اوین منتقل گردید که تحت نظارت وزارت اطلاعات اداره می شود. پس از چند ماه بازجویی و بازداشت موقت، در مرداد ۱۳۹۹ در شعبه ۲۸ دادگاه انقلاب تهران محاکمه شد. اتهام های مطرح شده شامل ارتباط با سازمان مجاهدین خلق و اجتماع و تبانی علیه امنیت ملی بود.

This political prisoner which was kept in Ghezelhesar prison has not contacted with his family since Sunday 27 July 2025.
In January 2020, an individual was arrested and subsequently transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison, which is managed by the Ministry of Intelligence. After several months of interrogation and temporary detention, the individual was tried in August 2020 at Branch 28 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court. The charges included alleged connections with the People's Mojahedin Organization and conspiracy against national security.
