On 25 May 2025, a shooting by military forces in the Nahbandan district resulted in the death of a young man. Reports indicate that the incident occurred on a dirt road near the village of Khajeh Do Chahi. Military forces opened fire on four motorcyclists without prior warning, leading to Navid Zarouei Baluch being shot in the chest and passing away. His identity has been reported as the son of Nabi and a resident of Khajeh Do Chahi village in the Nahbandan district.
