According to reports from Human Rights in Iran, on 6 August 2024, Maryam or Somayeh Rostami from Ilam Province was arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location. Additionally, the family's efforts to obtain information have been unsuccessful due to a lack of response from security and judicial authorities in the province.
