Abuzar Zaman, Zeinab Zaman's brother, stated that the verdict was delivered to her, and the charge against Zeinab Zaman in this case was "propaganda against the regime." Consequently, she was sentenced to one year of imprisonment, with one-twentieth of it to be served and the remainder suspended for five years, along with a five-year travel ban, a five-year prohibition from membership in political, social, and cultural parties and groups, a five-year ban on using a smartphone, and restrictions on communication or association with others except for family relations.
It is noteworthy that Abuzar Zaman, the defense lawyer for Zeinab Zaman, received a notification through the judiciary's electronic notification system on July 17, 2023, informing him of a court hearing scheduled for July 26, 2023. On that date, he and Zeinab Zaman appeared in Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court and presented their defense against the charges of "assembly and collusion with the intent to commit a crime against national security" and "propaganda against the regime" to Iman Afshari.
Zeinab Zaman was arrested on April 8, 2023, following a phone summons to the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the Niayesh area of Tehran. After a search of her home and the confiscation of some personal belongings, she was transferred to Evin Prison. Following interrogation and the formal announcement of charges, she was released on bail on April 15, 2023.
Additionally, Hussein Zaman, the father of this citizen and a prominent figure in the Iranian music scene, passed away on May 11, 2023, due to physical injuries sustained during the eight-year Iran-Iraq war.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، امروز دوشنبه ۱۶ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، زینب زمان، فرزند: حسین، ساکن: تهران که توسط ایمان افشاری، قاضی شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران، محاکمه شده بود به تحمل ۱ سال حبس تعزیری، ۵ سال منع خروج از کشور، منع عضویت در احزاب، گروهها و دسته جات سیاسی، اجتماعی و فرهنگی، منع استفاده از گوشی تلفن همراه، خودداری از ارتباط یا معاشرت با سایرین به استثناء روابط خویشاوندی، محکوم شد.
براساس اعلام ابوذر زمان، برادر زینب زمان، دادنامه صادره امروز به وی ابلاغ شده و برهمین اساس، اتهام زینب زمان در این پرونده (فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام) عنوان شده و بر همین وی به تحمل ۱ سال حبس که یک بیستم آن لازم به اجرا و باقی مانده به مدت ۵ سال تعلیقی، ۵ سال منع خروج از کشور، ۵ سال منع عضویت در احزاب، گروهها و دسته جات اجتماعی، سیاسی و فرهنگی، ۵ سال منع استفاده از گوشی هوشمند تلفن همراه، خودداری از ارتباط یا معاشرت با سایرین به استثناء روابط خویشاوندی محکوم شده است.
لازم به اشاره است، ابوذر زمان، وکیل مدافع زینب زمان، در تاریخ ۲۶ تیر ماه ۱۴۰۲، با دریافت ابلاغیه ای که از طریق سامانه ابلاغ الکترونیک قوه قضائیه(ثنا)برای وی ارسال شده بود از تشکیل جلسه دادرسی به پرونده موکل خود برای تاریخ رسیدگی ۴ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، مطلع شد و در تاریخ مذکور به همراه زینب زمان در شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران، حاضر و دفاعیات خود را از بات ۲ اتهام(اجتماع و تبانی به قصد ارتکاب جرم علیه امنیت کشور) و (فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام) به ایمان افشاری ارائه کرده بودند.
لازم به اشاره است، زینب زمان، در تاریخ ۱۹ فروردین ماه ۱۴۰۲، پس از احضار تلفنی به اداره نظارت و پیگیری سازمان اطلاعات سپاه پاسداران، واقع در محدوده نیایش تهران، بازداشت و پس از تفتیش منزل و توقیف برخی لوازم شخصی اش به زندان اوین منتقل و پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام، در تاریخ ۲۶ فروردین ماه ۱۴۰۲، با تودیع قرار وثیقه آزاد شد.
همچنین، حسین زمان، پدر این شهروند، از جمله فعالان عرصه موسیقی در ایران بود که با توجه به آسیبهای جسمانی ناشی از جنگ ۸ ساله ایران و عراق در تاریخ ۲۱ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۲، جان خود را از دست داد.
