او تک فرزند مهندس آی تی و برنامه نویس بود. آرش بهشتی پس از تیراندازی با کمک مردم به بیمارستان منتقل شد اما پیش از رسیدن به بیمارستان جان خود را از دست داد. پیکر آرش بهشتی برای سه روز در باغی در «بومهن» در انتظار صدور جواز خاکسپاری نگه داشته شد اما در نهایت با آمبولانس به پزشکی قانونی منتقل شد و پس از معاینه گواهی صادر شد. یک شنبه ۲۱دی پیکر آرش بهشتی را در بهشت زهرا به خاک سپردند.

He was killed on Thursday, January 8, 2026, during protests in the Haft-Hoz area of Tehran, after being struck in the head by a direct shot from a live bullet fired by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic.
He was an only child an IT engineer and programmer. After the shooting people helped transfer Arash Beheshti to a hospital but he lost his life before reaching the hospital.
His body was kept for three days in a garden in Boumehhen awaiting the issuance of a burial permit. It was eventually transferred by ambulance to the forensic medicine office where after examination the certificate was issued.
On Sunday January 11 the body of Arash Beheshti was laid to rest at Beheshte Zahra cemetery.
