Reza Ansari Ramandi

Reza Ansari Ramandi, a 50-year-old from Danesfahan, Qazvin province, was killed on January 8, 2026. During the national uprising against the Islamic Republic government, Reza was shot in the heart by Basij forces with live ammunition on the evening of Thursday, January 8, at around 9 PM in the city of Danesfahan, Qazvin. Two days later, security forces forcibly handed over his body. They took commitments from all family members and received an amount of 200 million for the release of the body. Security officers declared the cause of death as "suicide" and did not allow any announcement or gathering ceremonies. Reza's body was buried at around 5 AM under heavy security presence.
