On 19 November 2022, Mohammad Safiyari, who worked as a motorcycle courier, was shot with pellet bullets while transporting parcels on Jomhouri Street, resulting in blindness in one eye. Over time, his vision in the other eye also deteriorated due to increased fluid pressure. To cover the costs of eye surgery, he sold his motorcycle and is now unable to work due to the current economic conditions in Iran.
It has been reported that a legal case has been initiated for Mohammad Safiyari to seek justice. It was also stated that there is a need for a judicial order and unified guidance from senior judiciary officials to organise the handling of complaints. According to sources, there is no logical order in addressing the issue of seeking justice to identify and address the damages, and there is a divergence of opinions among the authorities. It is expected that the necessary orders and guidance will be issued to establish a unified and impartial approach in addressing the situation of those affected.
در تاریخ ۲۸ آبان ۱۴۰۱، محمد صفیاری که به عنوان پیک موتوری فعالیت می کرد، در خیابان جمهوری و در حال جابجایی امانت ها، هدف گلوله های ساچمه ای قرار گرفت و از یک چشم نابینا شد. پس از مدتی، چشم دیگر او نیز به دلیل افزایش فشار مایع دچار کاهش بینایی شد. او برای تأمین هزینه های جراحی چشم، موتور خود را فروخت و در شرایط اقتصادی موجود ایران، از کار افتاده است.
گزارش شده است که پرونده قضایی برای محمد صفیاری به منظور دادخواهی تشکیل شده است. همچنین اعلام شده که نیاز به صدور دستور قضائی و رهنمود واحد توسط مقامات ارشد قوه قضائیه برای ساماندهی به شیوه رسیدگی به شکایات وجود دارد. به گفته منابع، نظم منطقی در خصوص نحوه رسیدگی به مسئله دادخواهی جهت شناخت و رفع آسیب ها وجود ندارد و مراجع دچار تشدد آراء هستند. انتظار می رود که دستورات و رهنمود لازم جهت ایجاد انتظام یکپارچه و بی طرفانه در نحوه رسیدگی به وضعیت آسیب دیدگان صادر شود.
