Meysam Dehban Zadeh, a former political prisoner, has been sentenced to six years in prison, despite being granted a pardon in February 2023.
Erfan Karam Vaisi, an attorney, wrote on Twitter that according to the verdict issued by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court regarding the charges against his client Meysam Dehban Zadeh, he has been sentenced to a total of six years in prison for assembly and collusion with the intent to commit a crime against national security and forming a group with the aim of disrupting national security.
The attorney also stated that this sentence was issued even though Meysam had been included in the pardon announced in February of the previous year.
The former political prisoner has also been sentenced to additional punishments, including a ban on leaving the country, a ban on membership in political and social groups, monthly attendance at a supervisory office, and a prohibition on residing in Tehran Province and its neighboring provinces for two years.

عرفان کرم ویسی، وکیل دادگستری، در توییتر خود نوشت: «برابر رای ابلاغی شعبه ٢۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران در خصوص اتهامات وارده علیه موکلم میثم دهبان زاده ، ایشان بابت اجتماع و تبانی به قصد ارتکاب جرم علیه امنیت کشور و تشکیل گروه با هدف بر هم زدن امنیت کشور مجموعا به ۶ سال حبس محکوم شده اند.»
به گفته این وکیل دادگستری: «این حکم در حالی صادر گردیده است که میثم در خصوص همین پرونده مشمول عفو اعلامی بهمن ماه سال گذشته شده بود.»
این زندانی سیابق سیاسی، همچنین از بابت مجازات تکمیلی به، منع خروج از کشور، منع عضویت در دستجات یا گروه های سیاسی و اجتماعی، حضور ماهانه در دفتر نظارت و منع اقامت در استان تهران و استانهای مجاور آن به مدت دو سال محکوم شده است.»
