Mohammad Rahmati, born in 1997 (1376 in the Iranian calendar) and a resident of the Heravi neighborhood in Tehran, was shot on the evening of 8 January 2026 (18 Dey 1404), only about half an hour after leaving his home.
According to a source close to the Rahmati family, despite sustaining severe injuries, Mohammad remained conscious after being shot and asked his friends to take him home. “His father then took him to Labafinejad Hospital in Tehran.” He later died as a result of his injuries.
His body was transferred to Kahrizak and was identified there three days later. According to the source, authorities required his father to sign a written statement declaring that Mohammad had been killed by terrorists in order for the family to receive his body
محمد رحمتی، متولد سال ۱۳۷۶ و ساکن محله هروی تهران در شامگاه ۱۸ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ و تنها حدود نیم ساعت پس از خروج از منزل هدف شلیک گلوله قرار گرفت.
به گفته یک منبع نزدیک به خانواده رحمتی، با وجود جراحات شدید، محمد پس از اصابت گلوله ها همچنان هوشیار بود و از دوستانش خواست او را به خانه برسانند؛ «سپس، پدرش او را به بیمارستان لبافی نژاد تهران برد.». در اثر جراحات وی جان خود را ازدست داد.
جنازه وی به کهریزک منتقل شد و سه روز بعد در کهریزک شناسایی شد. برای تحویل جسد از پدرش تعهد گرفته شد که قاتل او را افراد تروریست اعلام کند.
