روز چهارشنبه بیست و نهم فروردین ١٤٠٣، یک شهروند کُرد به نام محی الدین معروف نیا اهل پیرانشهر با تودیع قرار وثیقه یک میلیارد تومانی به صورت موقت از یکی از بازداشتگاه های امنیتی این شهرستان آزاد شد.
۲۸ فروردین ۱۴۰۵ با گذشت بیش از یک هفته از بازداشت محی الدین قلاش و بهنام قلاش، دو شهروند کُرد اهل پیرانشهر، همچنان هیچ اطلاعی از وضعیت و محل نگهداری آن ها در دست نیست.
