According to reports, on 2 March 2024, Khabat Vaisi from the village of Golchir in Marivan County, Kurdistan Province, was arrested and transferred to prison to serve a custodial sentence. It has been stated that his arrest was for the purpose of serving this sentence.
During the judicial process, Khabat Vaisi was sentenced by the Marivan Revolutionary Court to one year and three months of imprisonment on charges of engaging in propaganda activities against the regime. He was initially arrested by security forces in Marivan on 20 September 2022 and, after being transferred to the detention centre of the Kurdistan Province Intelligence Department and undergoing interrogation, was released on bail on 18 October 2023.
Khabat Vaisi was arrested again by security forces in Marivan on 7 November 2022 and, after undergoing interrogation and the formation of a legal case, was released on bail.
بر اساس گزارش ها، در 12 اسفند 1402، خبات ویسی از روستای گلچیر در شهرستان مریوان استان کردستان برای اجرای حکم حبس تعزیری خود بازداشت و به زندان منتقل شد. گفته شده است که بازداشت وی برای سپری کردن دوران حبس تعزیری صورت گرفته است.
در مراحل دادرسی، خبات ویسی توسط دادگاه انقلاب مریوان به اتهام فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام به یک سال و سه ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شده بود. او در 29 شهریور 1401 توسط ماموران امنیتی در مریوان دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه اداره کل اطلاعات استان کردستان و طی مراحل بازجویی، در 26 مهر 1402 با وثیقه آزاد شده بود.
خبات ویسی مجدداً در 16 آبان 1401 توسط ماموران امنیتی در مریوان بازداشت و پس از سپری کردن دوران بازجویی و تشکیل پرونده قضایی با وثیقه آزاد شده بود.
