Soheil Zilabi, a resident of Yazdanshahr, was killed by direct gunfire from security forces during protests in the city on 9 January 2026. It has been reported that he was present at the Yazdanshahr protests and was shot in the head by security forces on Motahari Boulevard. He was transferred to Fatemeh Zahra Hospital in Yazdanshahr the same night, where he passed away.
It has been stated that security forces only handed over Soheil's bloodied clothes to his family and informed them to go to Baghe Rezvan Cemetery in Isfahan to collect his body. The family visited the cemetery for three days, and eventually, five days later, Soheil's body was returned to them.
سهیل زیلابی، معترض ساکن یزدانشهر، در تاریخ ۱۹ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات این شهر با شلیک مستقیم ماموران امنیتی کشته شد. گزارش شده است که او در اعتراضات یزدانشهر حضور داشت و پس از شلیک ماموران امنیتی در بلوار مطهری یزدانشهر به سر او، همان شب به بیمارستان فاطمه الزهرا یزدانشهر منتقل شد و در آنجا جان باخت.
گفته شده است که نیروهای امنیتی تنها لباس های خونین سهیل را به خانواده اش تحویل دادند و به آنان اعلام کردند که برای تحویل پیکر او به قبرستان باغ رضوان، اصفهان، مراجعه کنند. خانواده به مدت سه روز به قبرستان باغ رضوان مراجعه کردند و در نهایت، پنج روز بعد پیکر سهیل به آنان تحویل داده شد.
