Ali Qeshlaqei, a Kurdish individual detained during the protests in January 2026, was transferred to Bojnord Central Prison in late June 2026 to serve his prison sentence. He is currently serving his sentence.
Ali Qeshlaqei had previously been sentenced by Branch 2 of the Bojnord Revolutionary Court to two years and six months of imprisonment. Initially, the Bojnord Revolutionary Court had sentenced him to four years in prison for charges of assembly and collusion to commit crimes against national security and propaganda against the regime. Of this sentence, two years and six months were suspended. After accepting the verdict, the sentence was reduced to three years and six months, with one year suspended and two years and six months to be served.
Ali Qeshlaqei was arrested by security forces on 25 January 2026 without a judicial warrant. After one month of detention, he was temporarily released in early March 2026 on bail. During his one-month detention, he was denied access to his chosen lawyer and the opportunity to meet with his family.
علی قشلاقی، جوان کرد و از بازداشت شدگان اعتراضات دی ماه 1404، اواخر خردادماه 1405 برای اجرای حکم حبس تعزیری خود به زندان مرکزی بجنورد منتقل شده و در حال سپری کردن دوران محکومیت خود است.
علی قشلاقی پیشتر توسط شعبه دوم دادگاه انقلاب بجنورد به 2 سال و 6 ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شده بود.
وی توسط دادگاه انقلاب بجنورد بابت اتهامات اجتماع و تبانی برای ارتکاب جرم علیه امنیت ملی و تبلیغ علیه نظام ابتدا به 4 سال حبس محکوم شد که 2 سال و 6 ماه آن تعلیقی بود. پس از تسلیم به رأی، این حکم به 3 سال و 6 ماه حبس کاهش یافت که 1 سال آن تعلیق شده و 2 سال و 6 ماه حبس تعزیری آن اجرایی شد.
علی قشلاقی در 5 بهمن 1404 بدون ارائه حکم قضایی توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و پس از یک ماه بازداشت اوایل اسفندماه 1404 با تودیع قرار وثیقه به صورت موقت آزاد شده بود.
وی در مدت یک ماه بازداشت از حق دسترسی به وکیل منتخب و امکان ملاقات با خانواده محروم بوده است.
