Abdolreza Amanifar, a teacher and union activist in Bushehr, Iran, has been involved with the Bushehr Teachers' Union and participated in teachers' gatherings. On 1 May 2022, he was arrested during a teachers' gathering in Bushehr. He faced charges such as acting against national security and disrupting public order. In one case, he was sentenced to four years and eight months in prison and received a separate sentence in another case.
On 4 April 2026, he was arrested at his parental home in Bushehr by security forces. According to a report by a human rights organisation dated 25 July 2026, the teachers' union activist remains in detention without any resolution to his legal status.
He suffers from severe polycystic kidney disease, and according to a physician's medical certificate, he requires specialised medical care at healthcare facilities outside the prison.
عبدالرضا امانی فر یک معلم و فعال صنفی در شهر بوشهر ایران است. او عضو انجمن صنفی معلمان بوشهر بوده و در تجمعات معلمان شرکت داشته است. در ۱۱ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۱ در جریان تجمع معلمان در بوشهر بازداشت شد. اتهام هایی مانند اقدام علیه امنیت ملی و اخلال در نظم عمومی علیه او مطرح شده است. در یکی از پرونده ها به ۴ سال و ۸ ماه حبس محکوم شده و در پرونده ای دیگر نیز مجازات جداگانه دریافت کرده است.
در تاریخ ۱۵ فروردین ماه ۱۴۰۵در منزل پدری خود در بوشهر توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت شد. در خبری از یک ارگان حقوق بشری در سوم امرداد ۱۴۰۵، این فعال صنفی معلمان کماکان در بازداشت و بلاتکلیفی به سر می برد. وی به بیماری حاد کلیوی (پلی کیستیک) مبتلاست و طبق گواهی پزشک، نیازمند رسیدگی تخصصی پزشکی در مراکز درمانی خارج از زندان است.
