On 14 October 2022, it was reported that an individual was arrested by plainclothes officers near their home in Tehran and transferred to Shapour Detention Centre. The main charges included filming scenes of suppression and assisting injured protesters. During the interrogation period, the individual was denied access to legal representation.
The person was moved to Evin Prison and later transferred to Qarchak Varamin, where they underwent repeated interrogations. The preliminary court in Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court issued a sentence of five years of imprisonment, two years of exile from Tehran, a two-year travel ban, a driving ban, mandatory unpaid work in a hospital, and the confiscation of their mobile phone and vehicle.
In December 2022, the sentence was upheld by the appeals court.

این فرد به زندان اوین منتقل و سپس به قرچک ورامین انتقال یافت و تحت بازجویی های مکرر قرار گرفت. دادگاه بدوی در شعبه 26 دادگاه انقلاب تهران، حکمی شامل 5 سال حبس تعزیری، 2 سال تبعید از تهران، 2 سال ممنوع الخروجی، منع رانندگی، کار اجباری رایگان در بیمارستان و ضبط تلفن همراه و خودرو صادر کرد.
در دی 1401، حکم صادره در دادگاه تجدیدنظر تأیید شد.
