The sister of Mr Mohammad Hassani, a political prisoner imprisoned in Karaj Central Penitentiary, has been held indefinitely in Karaj's Kachhui Prison for more than three months.
Fatemeh Hasani, a detained political activist, was released on bail on 10 July 2023. Reports indicate that she was freed from prison following the issuance of this bail. As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for her arrest or the charges against her. Fatemeh Hasani was arrested by Ministry of Intelligence officers at Mashhad Airport on 4 July 2023 and transferred to the ministry's detention centre in the city.
