Mohsen Rezazadeh Gharaghloo

Mohsen Rezazadeh Gharagholu, 22 years old, who was arrested during the women's protests for life and freedom, was transferred to Jask prison to serve 5 years of exile imprisonment.

Mohsen Rezazadeh was among those who were tried on charges of "waging war" in the first public hearing on the charges of those arrested in the protests at Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court.

The indictment issued for him stated: "Mohsen Rezazadeh, son of Hasan, is accused of waging war by participating in creating a fire in a public utility in order to disrupt public, social order and security, and commit a crime against the internal security of the country, making explosive items like Molotov cocktails for anti-security purposes, and throwing stones at law enforcement agents."

According to new information received by the follow-up committee, Mohsen Rezazadeh was arrested on September 19, 2022, at his home in Sabzdast town in Baharestan county.

He was ultimately sentenced by the court to one year of discretionary imprisonment for "disrupting order" and 5 years of exile imprisonment for "waging war". After serving one year in prison for disrupting order, Rezazadeh was transferred to Jask prison on Thursday, October 25, 2023, to serve the remainder of his sentence (5 years of exile imprisonment).
