مسعود عبدالله زاده در تاریخ 30 فروردین 1405 در محل سکونتش بازداشت و به زندان نقده منتقل شد. در تاریخ 20 اردیبهشت 1405، او پس از 22 روز بازداشت با تودیع قرار وثیقه به صورت موقت از زندان آزاد شد. گزارش شده است که این فرد برای بازجویی به یکی از بازداشتگاه های امنیتی ارومیه منتقل و پس از اتمام مراحل بازجویی به زندان نقده بازگردانده شده بود. مسعود عبدالله زاده اهل روستای خلیفان از توابع نقده است و پیش تر نیز سابقه بازداشت داشته است.
